Yang Seokyoung

Biography

Seokyoung Yang is a filmmaker and curator based in Seoul and London. Working across moving image, sound, and text, she traces diasporic bodies while exploring the slow, unglamorous labor of grief. Alongside her own artistic practice, Yang organizes micro-screenings to amplify emerging voices. She holds a BFA in Film and Video from the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts).
